On 4 November 2023, Beauty Azerbaijan exhibition completed its work in Baku Expo Center. The event was held as part of the 3rd Azerbaijan International Medical Innovations Exhibition, Medinex. Both the project brought together nearly a hundred companies from 14 countries and garnered huge interest, with thousands of local and foreign visitors in attendance.
Participating in the opening ceremony of the exhibition were Teymur Musayev, Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Alimkhan Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for Health; Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance; Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Medical Territorial Unit Management Association (TABİB); Farid Mammadov, Executive Director of Caspian Event Organisers.
The speakers pointed out that Azerbaijan today sees positive changes in provision of medications to the populations alongside the improvement of their quality and pricing. So it is not a coincidence that health-, hygiene-, and beauty-related exhibitions have become a tradition and have been expanding in a steady fashion. This year, not only does it showcase medical equipment and medications, but it also presents the fields of medical education and medical tourism, which is quite reassuring.
Beauty Azerbaijan drew the visitor's attention with cosmetology and aesthetic medicine products, natural and decorative cosmetics, equipment for beauty salons, nail care tools and equipment etc. And, of course, this global beauty and youth project stirred keen interest not only among female visitors, but also among many entrepreneurs who run aesthetic medicine salons across Azerbaijan, as well as in the CIS and beyond.
The exhibitions featured sessions with experts and specialists sharing knowledge and experience in the field of medicine, panel discussions, B2B business meetings with the participation of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, and other events. This format enabled visitors to gain new knowledge and information about the latest industry trends, as well as improve their professional skills.
